He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mark Edwards and Lilly May Edwards (Reinert); his wife June Wanda Edwards (Stark); and his siblings, George Edwards, Joseph Edwards, Erma Peterson, Doris Strickland, Thelma Hodge and Claudia Witt.

He is survived by: his sons, Scott Edwards of Kansas City, MO and Jeff Edwards (Jan) of Richland, MO; his grandsons, Brenden Edwards (Caitlin) of Blue Springs, MO and Landon Edwards (Taylor) of Linn Creek, MO; his great grandchildren, Marah Edwards, Monroe Edwards and Bellamy Edwards; his brother Clarence "Bud"; and his sister-in-law Doris Stark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
