She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Gilmore and Carrie Gilmore (Williams); her sons, John David and Jimmy Earl; and her sisters, Beulah and Amy.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughter Cathy Eakins (Troy); her grandchildren, Andrea (Josh Rupp), Jessica (Travis Hudson), Brad (Emily Carnes), Casey (Anthony Crisp), Katie (Katlin Humble), Kelsie (Dallas Melton), Josh Eakins, Carrie Eakins and Kylie Eakins; and her sister Genevia Jackson (Mike). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, relatives, several nieces and nephews.
Donations are requested to Elm Grove Methodist Church.
