She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Roy "Sam" Chambliss and Beatrice "Bea" Chambliss (Keeling); her siblings, Charlotte Thurman and Pete Chambliss; and her sister-in-law Judy Chambliss (William H. "Bill").

She is survived by: her significant other Bill Harp; her daughter Marcy Chitwood (Jay) of Rogersville, MO; her stepchildren, Rick Harp (Rossell) of Springfield, MO and Belinda Harp of Springfield, MO; and her sister Linda Tiffin of Plainview, TX. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
