He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel F. Nichols and Clara Augusta Nichols (Boss). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sue Blankenship of Hardin, MO; his children, Kristina Rechtermann (Jeff) of Hardin, MO and Kevin Nichols (Amanda) of Richmond, MO; his grandchildren, Austin Rechtermann, Alyssa Rechtermann and Taylee Nichols; his stepgrandchildren, Tatum McGlothlin and Taylor McGlothlin; and his brothers, Donnie Nichols (Linda) of Richmond, MO and Cecil Nichols of Liberty, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hardin First Baptist Church or donor's choice.
