He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Kist and Doris Kist; his brother Darrell; his daughter Dana; his wife Michele; his sister Jackie Butch; his stepdaughters, Melinda Orskog (Michael) and Barbara Lavelock (Heath); his nephews, Jim Fisher and Toby Witherspoon (Angelique); his cousin Randy Kist (Vickie); and his grandchildren, Lillian and Owen Orskog.
Larry traveled the nation, educating the public and lobbying state and federal governments to break down barriers to donation.
