She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Ollie Faye McMurtry (Robison); and her sister Sue Hill. She is survived by: her son Kevin Sorrels (Michele) of St. Augustine; her nieces, Tracey Bell and Dana Byars; and her nephew Jimmy Bell.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sparrow Project of Moore, Oklahoma, which promotes happy and fulfilled lives through work skills, life skills, creative interests, and social activities for adults with intellectual disabilities.
