He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. and Dora L. Curtner, Sr. (Brock); and his siblings, John W. Curtner, Jr., Ruby L. Hines and Dorothy E. Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Mae Groom of Excelsior Springs; his daughter Nancy Allenbrand (Brian) of Kansas City; and his grandchildren, Derrick Max Allenbrand and Katherine Cherie Allenbrand.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond First Baptist Church.
