It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowena Hampton of Raymore, Missouri, born in Humboldt, Kansas, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leota Leimenstoll (Maxwell) and John Robert Leimenstoll; and her son Jon Stuart Wright. She is survived by: her former husband Billy Gene Wright; her husband Archie Darrell Hampton; her sons, William Kevin Wright (Karen Wright) and Christopher Alan Wright (Mary E. Kelly); her grandchildren, Amanda Osenga (Jeremy Osenga), Jarrod Wright, Simon Wright, Max Landen (Haley Landen), Spencer Kelly-Wright and Connor Kelly-Wright; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Osenga, Wren Landen and Harold Landen; and her pet Sugar.
