He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Karas and Pauline Karas (Vana); his son Michael Karas; and his brothers, Richard and Robert Karas.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Bohlmann; his children, Jeffrey Karas, Debra Krahenbuhl (Kris) and Shannon Coomes (Mike); his grandchildren, Bret Krahenbuhl, Scot Krahenbuhl, Michael Coomes and Samantha Coomes; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Olivia Krahenbuhl.
