With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Elmor Evans of Queen City, Missouri, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clinton "Bill" and Cora Elizabeth Evans (Leedom); his wife Carolyn Evans; his siblings, James C. Evans and Hazel Whitlow (Louie); and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Steen and Ted Johnson.
He is survived by: his son James Richard Evans (Jill) of Keokuk, Iowa; and his sister Fern Johnson of Queen City, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many good friends.
A memorial has been established for the Lancaster Baptist Church.
