With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Eugene Russell of Queen City, Missouri, born in Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on September 8, 2020 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Wayne and Elizabeth Pearl Russell (Salisbury); his brothers, Larry and Bob Russell; his parents-in-law, Ted and Florence Martin; his siblings-in-law, Shirley McAuley, Brenda Russell, Bob Howe, Dick Hildabital and Miran McAuley; his nephews, Gabriel Small, Tyson Vincent and Ricky Russell; and his pet Polly.
He is survived by: his wife Dorene Kay Martin; his children, Shawn Russell (Laci Cook) of Kirksville, MO, Brian Russell of Queen City, MO and Traci Lawrence (Todd) of Kirksville, MO; his brothers, Jay Russell (Barbara) of Independence, MO and Rick Russell of Grain Valley, MO; his grandchildren, Anthony Russell (Tiffany), Baylea Turner (Nicholas Grant), McKenzie Zoda (Austin), Tyler Turner, Clara Russell, Maya McKiver, Ethan Lawrence and Evan Lawrence; his great grandchildren, Rylea Clay, Birklee Speiser, Jaxxon Turner and Hunter Grant; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Martin, Rick Vincent, Becky Howe, Marcia Martin, Donna Small and Cathy Vincent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
