He is survived by: his former spouse Phyliss Smith; his wife Cheryl Gottman; his children, Julie Ruggles (Gene) of Stephenville, Susan Butler (Jimmie) of Kirksville, MO, Ryan Martin (Shudi) of Hastings, Betsy Gottman of Unionville, MO, Steve Gottman (Kristie) of Queen City, MO and Sam Gottman (Jakki Fuller) of Memphis, MO.; his grandchildren, Ashley Reese (Brandon), Amber Ruggles (Matt Medcalf) of Stephenville, Tell Ruggles (Morghan) of New Mexico, Amanda Leach of Kirksville, MO, Kaycie Martin of Hastenings, Jordan Gottman (Kylee) of Grain Valley, MO, Jessica Shively (Jaron Kirksville) and Brooklynn (Christian Fuller) of Memphis, MO.; and his brother Gary Martin (Pansy) of Queen City. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
