She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Brownawell and Fern Gibson Brownawell; her daughter Sharon Crawford; her stepson Richard Stamper; her siblings, Ilene McDaniel and Gerald Dean Brownawell; her son-in-law Andy Powell; her niece Linda McDaniel Wells; and her grandchildren, Kayson James Wilson and Jade August Cowart.
She is survived by: her husband William Ben Stamper; and her daughters, Ila Rhea Powell of Princeton and Benalee Streett (Lewis) of Princeton. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and thirty great great grandchildren.
