With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Shaffer (Princeton, Missouri), born in Mercer, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2023 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Max Shaffer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Shaffer and Sylvia Rogers Shaffer; his siblings, James LeRoy, Mildred Weaver and Mary Lou Fullerton; his niece Karen Rockhold; and his nephews, Greg Weaver and Allan Coon.
He is survived by: his wife Lelia Marie Wright; his sons, James Tracy (Kathy) and Terry Linn (Debi); his grandchildren, Jed (Johnnie), Lacey (Derek) and Cheyenne (Ryan); his sister Carol Cox; his nephew Christopher (Sarah); and his nieces, Marsha Hobbs (Dee), Jackie Delameter, Linda Cribb and Connie Peterson. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Underwood Cemetery to honor Max's parents and brother in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 316, Princeton, MO 64673.
