It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenny Bone of Potosi, Missouri, born in Mineral Point, Missouri, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Catherine Bone (Paul) and Jesse Bone; his wife Pat Bone (Newton); his brothers, Bill Bone and Ed Politte; his children, Kraig Bone, Elizabeth Thompson, Kimberlie Barnfield (Linus), Tina Owen (Bob), Kelly Sullivan (Kevin) and Timothy Bone (Lori); his siblings, Nancy Politte, Janet Govero (Lawrence), Elaine "Laney" Portell (Bill), Trish Boyer (Donnie), Peg Portell (Kenny), Ginny Bone, Tom Bone (Wanda), Paul Bone (Brenda) and Joe Bone (Joanne); his grandchildren, Ashten, Lauren, Marissa, Jacob, Madalyn, Sarah and Gracie; and his caregivers, Kathy Politte, Cheryl Jordan and Michele Boyer. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Furthermore, Kenny made valuable contributions to the community by serving on the Washington County Hospital Board, St. Joachim School Board and Parish Counsel and working as a school bus driver.
