He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Charles Hinkle (Deborah O'Neal), Jerry Hinkle Jr. (Ann), Samuel Hinkle, Robert Hinkle and Tammy Faries (Lawrence Turnbough); his siblings, Judy Hinkle, Ruthie Hinkle, Violet Hinkle, Marilyn Hinkle, Jim Hinkle, John Hinkle, David Hinkle and Mike Hinkle; his parents, Dolly Hinkle (Volliner) and James Hinkle; and his wife Dale Marie Hinkle. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
