He was predeceased by: his parents, Lourene Caldwell and James Kirk Thacker Sr.; and his siblings, LaQuita Gloth, Frances Ruth Thacker, J. K. Thacker, Jr. and William Brose Thacker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Thacker; his children, Crystal Hall (Rick) of Caruthersville, MO and Thomas Dewayne Creasy (Brandy) of Portageville, MO; his siblings, Wayne Thacker (Pat) of Portageville, Nancy Ellen Serigstad (Bruce), Linda Darnell (Dale) of Portageville, Dorothy Turner of Kennett and Gail Burton (Danny) of Portageville, MO; his grandchildren, Jaiden, Annabeth, Jonalan, Chase, Caden, Meagan, Jackie and Woody; and his great grandchildren, Jayston and Kiersten.
