He is survived by: his wife Sandra Samples of Portageville; his children, Derek Samples (Mary) of Jackson, MO and April Priggel (Mike) of Portageville, MO; his sister Wilma Fletcher of Niles, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Cody Samples (Delia), Cooper Samples, Caroline Samples, Matt Priggel (Cristina) and Alyssa Birdwell (DJ); and his great grandchildren, Weston Birdwell, Emmy Birdwell and Ava Birdwell.
