It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary M. DeWeerdt of Plattsburg, Missouri, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon DeWeerdt and Margaret DeWeerdt (DeSmet). She is survived by: her sister Rosie Maples of Sedalia, MO; and her nephews, Steve Maples (Nancy) of Warsaw, MO and Tom Maples (Monty) of Warsaw, MO. She is also survived by 5 great nieces, 1 great nephew, 2 great-great nieces and 4 great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Plattsburg Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
