He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry P. DeMint and Myrtle C. DeMint (Watkins); his wife Ramona Kelley DeMint; and his brothers, Mickey and David DeMint.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn McMillian (Cody) and Jeremy DeMint; and his siblings, Sharon Slatinsky, Patti Schnetzler, Debbie Ramsey, Kathy Richardson and Warren DeMint. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
