He was predeceased by: his parents, Recil Andrus and Violet Andrus; his brother Steve Shannon; and his former wife Heidi Simerly. He is survived by: his children, Adam Andrus, Amber Andrus and Sarina Garner; his grandchildren, Breonna McKinney, Davionna McKinney, David McKinney III, Sabrina Hawkins, Jordan Hawkins, Michael Hawkins and Kaleigh Andrus; and his sister Emma Gipple.
