It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne Swanson (Plattsburg, Missouri), born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Lee and Winifred Nelson; her husband Lindy Swanson; and her son Tom McClain. She is survived by: her sons, Jack McClain (Kim) of Plattsburg Mo, John McClain of Kansas City, KS and Dan McClain (Debra) of Beggs, OK; and her brother Tommy Nelson (Marcia) of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
