He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Sloan and Elberta Sloan; his wife Gara; his stepdaughter Becca Heatherington; his sister-in-law Gayl Griffith; and his siblings, Sally Slatinsky, Gail Holman and Charles E. Sloan. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and numerous relatives and friends.
