With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louan Wynn of Platte City, Missouri, born in Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on August 21, 2020 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louan Wynn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Wesley and Edna Josephine Moppin (Richardson); her husband Larry Dean Wynn; and her sister Shirley Whitton. She is survived by: her sister Eva Jane Hoeltzel. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving family members.

Per local health guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required.

Memorial contributions can be given to the Hillsboro Christian Church or to the Ridgeley Christian Church.

A candle has been lit

“Louan was a wonderful person and a good friend. Not many people may know that she helped in making Quilts of Valor for svc members/veterans. She lent her hand sewing skills sewing the bindings on the outside of many quilts. Her sewing skills were impeccable, each quilt requiring several hours to complete. Her efforts contributed to making many veterans happy, and she enjoyed doing it so much. I will miss her, but I know she is happily reunited with her beloved Larry and in the arms of Our Lord.”
