He is survived by: his wife Helen Ruth Phillips; his sons, Greg Gerke of Pilot Grove, Steve Gerke (Teresa) of Boonville and Christopher Gerke of Pilot Grove; his sisters, Linda Gerke of Pilot Grove, Diane Root (Kenny) of Pilot Grove, Joan Lewis (John) of Marshall and Donna Bargfrede (John) of Marshall; and his grandchildren, Garrett Gerke, Gavin Gerke, Gage Gerke, Evan Gerke, Maggie Gerke, Aden Gerke, Gracie Gerke, Blake Gerke, JoDee Gerke and Lane King.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church, in care of the Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
