He was predeceased by: his parents, B. J. Wessing and Isabelle Marie Wessing (Eckerle); and his siblings, Charley Wessing and Bernie Earles. He is survived by: his wife Lena Wessing; his sons, Stacy Wessing (Courtney Young) of Pilot Grove and Aaron Wessing (Desiree) of Pilot Grove; his stepchildren, Diana Gilpin of Columbia, Keith Gilpin of Columbia, Chris Gilpin (Sonya) of Columbia and Rusty Gilpin of Columbia; his grandchildren, Shelby Wessing, Bryson Wessing, Aiden Wessing, Ean Wessing, Elizabeth Wessing, Ashton Wessing, Christa Rosenfelder, Chase Gilpin, Jessica Miller, Jennifer Colter and Gage Young; his great grandchildren, Conner Gilpin and Addie Miller; his siblings, Gerry Wessing, Pat Davis (John) of Boonville and Peggy Weber (Bill) of Boonville; and his siblings-in-law, Clifford Earles of Excelsior Springs and Jayne Wessing of Pilot Grove.
