He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin and Bonnie Jean Jackson (Smith); his wife Paula Sue Miller; and his son Jeffery Jackson. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Jackson of Peculiar, MO and Jim Stratton; his siblings, Burl Jackson of Peculiar, MO, Grover Jackson of Irving, TX and Linda Welch; and his grandchildren, Tryston Jackson, Brylee Jackson, Jessi Stratton and Jami Stratton. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
