We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2023, at the age of 83, Michael Gieringer of Peculiar, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gieringer and Margaret Pierce Gieringer (Norma); and his siblings, Charles Gieringer Jr. (Chuck), Robert Gieringer (Bob), Homer Gieringer, Thomas Gieringer (Tom), John Gieringer, Rosemary Schultz, Kathy Bennett and Betty Thomas.
He is survived by: his brothers, Leo Gieringer and Benjamin Gieringer (Ben); his children, Cindy Ash (Gieringer), Dee Cahill (Terry), Michelle Smedley (Greg), Lori Laughrey (Rick), Dan Claar (Rose), David Claar (Deborah), Patrick Claar (Rita), Jeff Claar (Julie), Kathy Chael (Rick) and Karen Halastik (Mark); and his grandchildren, Joshua Cahill (Erika), Jami Kiesling (Andrew), Darren Cahill, Tyler Ash (Kaley), Rachel Soliday (Corbin), Sarah Khan (Shadeed), Danielle Laughrey, Nick Laughrey, Grace Smedley, Josh Claar, Nick Claar, Jessica Gamarra (Alvero), Ben Claar, Pat Claar, Michelle Kaiser (Kelly), Jennifer Page (Billy), Chelcia Cantu (Jesse), Rocky Chael (Leah), Katy Chiarolanza (Tristan), Olga Burwell (Ben), Mark Halastik, Corey, Elizabeth Halastik, Ashton Collier (Ashton) and Hanna Fiene. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
