She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Ragan and Blanche Leota Schafer Ragan; her husband Kenneth Marion Carter; her granddaughter Shauna Heck; her great grandchild Jonathan Schrock; and her siblings, Edna Wingate, Vera Ballenger, Verl Burchell, Ralph Ragan, Charley Ragan, Florence Joann Wadel and Clara Ragan.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Carter (Betsey) of Peculiar, MO, Shirley Garrett (David) of Garden City, MO, Teresa Morton (Dudley) of Peculiar, MO and Kenny Carter (Kathy) of Peculiar, MO. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
