He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marvin Mason and Zelma Alberta Louise Mathes (Rasnick); his son Evan Lee Mason; his siblings, Michael Mason and Annamae Halbrook; and his granddaughter Ashley Brownfield.
He is survived by: his children, Brian "Scott" Mason, Cheri Lynn Dickerson (Richard) and Tommy Michael Mason; his grandchildren, Jacki Brownfield, Rudi Dickerson (Mark Waldron), Joshua Brian Mason and Jessica Brittany Mason; his great grandchildren, Trenton, Rhiannan, Jadyn, Gavin, Armonte, Ezarah, Essence, Jordan, Anthony, Abbygail, Ellie, Ayden, Zane and Max; his siblings, Carolyn Brewer (Jack) and Keith Mason (Becky); and his sister-in-law Emily Mason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
