He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McIntyre and Edith McIntyre; and his siblings, Herschel, Vernon McIntyre and Gloria Henson.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley McIntyre (Gillam); his daughter Linda Causey (McIntyre); and his sister Norma Grimes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
