He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Nathaniel Wampler and Alta Geraldine Wampler (Thomure); and his siblings, Bobby Wampler and Maggie. He is survived by: his wife Linda May Wampler (Ratcliff); his grandchildren, Shaina and Carly; his siblings, Nancy James, Donald Wampler, Alma Burnside, Bonnie Voyles and Larry Wampler; and his half-sister Betty Hammers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
