She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fox and Sarah Fox; her husband Richard Alvin Short; her sons, Gregory Short and Mitchell Short; and her siblings, Jessie Marie Barton, Ray Fox, Dorotha Gray and Billy Andoe.
She is survived by: her close friend Joe Kyger; her grandsons, Skylar Short, Dannan Short and Mackie Short; and her sisters, Clara Belle Keithley, Betty Richardson and Ruth Hemphill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
