We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2021, at the age of 88, Roger Loyd Tayloe Sr. of Owensville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oscar and Florence Tayloe (Graves); and his siblings, Rosalie Ragland (Tayloe), Edward H. Tayloe and Robert E. Tayloe, Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Cindy Scheel (Terry) of Owensville, Roger Tayloe, Jr. (Denise) of Rochester, MI, Pamela Zito (Michael) of Frederick, MD and Missy Weston (Russ) of Olathe, KS.; his brothers, William Tayloe, Sr. of Owensville and George Tayloe (Beverly) of Chesterfield; his grandchildren, Joshua L. Scheel (Shelly), Terry L. Scheel, Adam R. Tayloe, Allison M. Tayloe, Alec L. Tayloe, Jennifer M. Belloir, Larry L. Belloir, Angela C. Winkleman (Michael), Aaron R. Weston, Megan R. Durfey (Jason) and Kaleb N. Weston; and his great grandchildren, Gauge, Kira Scheel, Adian, Rowan Thurkow, Jeremiah, Scarlet Cunningham, Brody Pruit, Castiel Winkleman, Clayton and Paxton Durfey.

“Roger has treated.Bib Champlain and I as if we were family for over 30 years as we traveled to Missouri for visits to Ron’ s farm. His smile was unmistakable and lit up a room when he entered. He was the best of what I have loved about Missouri and the people who live there: Above all friendly, independent, resourceful and inventive - putting family and friends on top his priority list. I will miss Roger deeply, and treasure the times that we shared. Chuck Bowman”
