He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Tyner and Hazel Tyner (Chatterton); his wife Pauline Tyner; his daughter Deann Smith; and his siblings, Edward, Frank Tyner Jr., Wanda Gary and Maybelle Sands.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Smith (Laurel) of St. Louis, Kirk Smith of Springfield, Ill., Linda Simmons (Bob) of Owensville and Adrienna Smith of Owensville; and his brother James Tyner (Nancy) of Clermont, Fla.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren.
