He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell Pointer and Vivian Pointer (Smith); his brother Bill Branson; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Branson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kottwitz; his daughters, Desiree Hale (Darrell) of Linn and Shawn Wehmeyer (Gary) of Owensville; his siblings, Bob Branson of Linn and Jane Fredendall (Bob) of Washington; his sister-in-law Juanita Branson of St. Louis; and his grandchildren, Trent Sellers of Owensville, Nicole Huls, Sam Baker of Jefferson City, Ryan Sellers (Amanda) of Owensville, Danielle Steinbeck, Brent Maness of Jefferson City, Megan Branson (Danny) of Owensville, Tucker Hale (Jessie) of Jefferson City, Shannon Short (Bryan) of Union and Amanda Hackstedt (Brad) of Gerald. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
