With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delores Virginia Langenberg of Owensville, Missouri, who passed away on September 2, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Chapman and Ella Chapman (Picker); her former husband Paul Spurgeon; and her sons, William "Billy" and Steven Spurgeon.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin; her daughters, Sheryl Mertz (Chris) of Bland and Sandy Mitchell (Scott) of Cuba; her daughters-in-law, Tina Spurgeon of Owensville and Lydia Gore of Rosebud; her stepson Craig Langenberg (Jane) of Brooksville, Fla.; her siblings, Robert Chapman (Linda) of Bland and Joyce Biles (Roger) of Owensville; her grandchildren, Nicholas Mertz (Shelby), Nathan Mertz (April), Jacob Spurgeon (Chantel), Samantha Ridley (Robert), Mercedes Barton (Mitchell), Shayla Farris (Evin), Danton Creek, William Spurgeon, Austin Spurgeon and Katie Creek; her stepgrandsons, Brett and Tyler Langenberg; her great grandchildren, Kate, Maggie Mertz and Karter Farris; and also Paul Spurgeon.
