He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hiatt and Madeline Hiatt (Stockamp); his granddaughter Brandi Hiatt; his siblings, John Hiatt and Bernice Day; his siblings-in-law, Jack Ingoldsby, Jesse Blalack, Joe Cremeens and Carmen Hiatt; and his nephews, Jesse "Boo" Blalack and Tommy Hiatt.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Patty Mayfield (Bob) of Owensville and Charles "Charlie" Hiatt, Jr. (Amy) of Owensville; his siblings, James "Butch" Hiatt (Donna) of Hillsboro, Shirley Fitzgerald (Donald) of Horine, Genevieve Ingoldsby of Fenton, Emma Blalack of Arnold and Judy Cremeens of Festus; his grandchildren, Shayla Vaughn (Dalton) of Owensville, Kaitlin Hiatt (Cody Howard) of Rosebud and Brandon Hiatt (Christina Becker) of Owensville; his great grandchildren, Charleigh Hiatt, Denton Vaughn and Colt Howard; and his grandson Emmett Farley.
