She is survived by: her spouse Robert "Duke" Kern; her son Robert Doug Kern (Susan) of Oran; her granddaughters, Jessica Kern of Cape Girardeau and Jamie Kern (Fiancé Trenton Hency) of Oran; and her sister Karen Schmitt of Chaffee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
