She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Don James; her parents, Chester Putman and Opal Putman; her granddaughter Krista Lynne James; her siblings, Jim Putnam and Mary Bennett; and her siblings-in-law, Cuba Putman and Bennie Bennett.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry James (Deborah) and Tom James (Jane); her grandchildren, Ashley James, Daniel James (Melissa), Brittany Renfroe (Nick) and Tiffany James (Matt Morkel); her great grandchild Max James Morkel; her brother Joe Putnam (Donna); and her sister-in-law Rose Putman.
