He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jim Thompson and Blanche Thompson (Galvin); his wife Patricia Thompson; and his children, Doug (Debbie Thompson), Steve (Becky Thompson), Sheila (Steve Havard) and Cindy (Tim James). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and 11 (soon to be 12) great-grandchildren.
