We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2019, at the age of 86, Fred F. McKinzie (Oak Grove, Missouri), born in Chilhowee, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Claire Sr. and Maude Sarah McKinzie (Wassmann); and his sister Betty Carter. He is survived by: his wife Vertie McKinzie; his children, Anita McWhirt (Rick) of Lee's Summit, MO, Walter McKinzie (Brenda) of Oak Grove and Alan McKinzie (Phyllis) of Richardson, TX; his brother Walter Claire McKinzie Jr. (Sandra) of Versailles, MO; and his grandchildren, Amanda McWhirt, Jeff McWhirt, Brian Hughes, Toby Young and Chiarra McKinzie. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Phoenix Hospice or The Diabetes Association.
