He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rodgers and Alvina Rodgers (Floyd); and his wife Maralee Rodgers. He is survived by: his children, Ed Rodgers (Anne Jackson), Katherine Majors (Ron), Martha Rodgers, Clay Rodgers (Lisa) and Sarah Bajkowski (Dennis); his brothers, Jimmie Clay Rodgers (Dorothy) of Blue Springs, MO and Richard "Jake" Rodgers (Pat) of Federal Way, WA.; his grandchildren, Austin Rodgers (Claire), Hannah Green (Jordan), Gretchen Hart (Aaron), Samantha Carter, Jackson Rodgers and Joseph Rodgers; and his great grandchildren, Meredith Green and Boone Hart.
Masks and social distancing will be required in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the American Legion Post #499 Honor Guard, 499 S. 7 Hwy Blue Springs, MO 64015.
