Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rebecca Sharp of New Madrid, Missouri, born in Cadiz, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 99, on February 3, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harvey Hughes and Lorene Bridges Hughes; her grandson Patrick Machiran; and her sisters, Virginia Kimbrough and Margaret Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Robbins (Jere) of New Madrid, Cindy Amick (Rand) of New Madrid, Jennifer Thomure (Dave) of East Prairie and Van H. Sharp III; her grandchildren, Vanessa Young (Anthony), Valerie Lawrence (Ryan), David Robbins (Danielle Stokes), Allison Amick (Chad Bradley), Victoria Akins (Drew), Madeleine Sproles (Dexter), Clair Sisk (Corey), Ollivia Quante (Jeff), Nicholas Machiran (Karlie), Jenna Machiran, Zeke and Zoey Sharp; and also Dan Machiran. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
