It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Patricia Hunter (New Madrid, Missouri), who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel L. Hunter and Patti Hunter Jr.; her husband Edgar "Eddie" Garland HIllis; and her sisters, Laura Pinnell Hunter, Linda Leah Hunter and Pamela Anne Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Andrews of New Madrid and Nicholas Andrews (Stephanie) of Jonesboro, AR; her grandchildren, Aiden and Riley Kate Andrews; and her siblings, Harriette Myers, Heidi Hunter of New Madrid, MO, Cynthia McGee of Columbia, MO, Mollie Kelly of Leawood, KS, Samuel L. Hunter III and Timothy P. Hunter of New Madrid, MO..
