With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Newland Jr. of New London, Missouri, born in Memphis, Missouri, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Paul Newland Sr. and Dolly Lucille Osbon Newland; his son David W. Newland; his sister Jeanie Tallman; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Tallman.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Mitchell; his daughter Becky Chitwood (Mike) of Hannibal, MO; his brothers, Charles Newland (Donna) of Hannibal, MO and Kenneth W. Newland (Mary Baker) of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, Michael Chitwood, Hayley Chitwood, Josh Newland and Jacob Newland; his great grandchild Aurora Chitwood; and his friend Tom Baker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
