It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Windy Kay Leighton of New Franklin, Missouri, born in Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Forrest Perkins; and her grandmother Mabel Smith. She is survived by: her mother Ronda Perkins (Reeves) of Columbia; her daughters, Brittney Reddick (Tanner) of New Franklin, Jaque Leighton of New Franklin, Jordan Leighton-Prentzler (Brandon) of New Franklin and Kimmie Leighton of New Franklin; her husband Jeff Leighton of St. Louis, Missouri; her sister Mony Perkins of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Hunter Young, Emma Young, Sammie Reddick and Rylee Young.
