He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben A. Gilmore and Hattie M. Fenton Gilmore; and his siblings, George, Roy, Delmar, Dean, Ruby Cartwright, Ruth Langston and Della Price.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Attebery (Marge); his children, Janet Friar (Dave), Jerry Gilmore (Diane) of Nevada and Julie Becker (Tony) of Nevada; and his grandchildren, Chadd Friar (Tara), Jason Friar (Tansy), Miranda Underwood (Matt), Kristi Cartwright (Tim), Keri Smith, Kelli Cooper (Richard), Kourtni Russell (K. C.) and Erica Hall. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Nevada Church of Christ or Fair Haven Children's Home c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
