She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ira and Prudie Ann Garwood (Dark); her husband Orville Eugene Meritt; her daughter Shelia Meritt; and her siblings, Chester Garwood, Clarence Garwood, Buford Garwood, Mabel Janssens and Melba Bowen.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Ogle (Steve); her grandsons, Jeff Addington (Lisa) of Rogersville, MO and Kevin Addington (Jennifer) of Hernando, MS; and her great grandchildren, Gage Addington of Hernando, MS, Jake Addington and Britni Addington of Hernando, MS. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
