It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Leroy Davis Jr. of Nevada, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Davis, Sr.; and his brother-in-law T. C. Conard. He is survived by: his mother Catherine J. Davis, Sr. (Jackson) of Rockville, MO; his wife Carrie L. Lawson; his son Chance Davis; his grandchildren, Oliver Halcom and Hyde Davis; his son Lamar; his stepmother Frances Davis of Alvarado, TX; and his siblings, Lonnie Davis (Noel), Cathy Graham (Kent) of Stockton, MO, Denise Nation (Ryan) of Windsor, MO and Rhonda Conard of Carthage, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
